So today was pretty good except that it was rainy and wet. I didn’t even mind getting up for class at 9:30 and usually have to drag myself out of bed. I feel like I just had a boost of energy today and it was great. I got new gloves… had fun with good people.. now to study…
And that’s all that I could manage. But hey, that’s pretty darn good if you ask me. Oh, and if you happen to be strolling through Starkville tomorrow, there’s going to be a benefit coffee house in the Union for Blaire E. Blatson Children’s Hospital hosted by Alpha Phi Omega at 6. Lab Rats Improv will be performing around 8:30, so there’s no good reason to miss if you live in cow country.
A good cause AND laughs? I can’t see why you wouldn’t want to come.
“Books are the perfect entertainment: no commercials, no batteries, hours of enjoyment for each dollar spent. What I wonder is why everybody doesn’t carry a book around for those inevitable dead spots in life.”—Stephen King (via mermaidsongs)
“I want to make Romeo jealous. I want the dead lovers of the world to hear our laughter and grow sad. I want a breath of our passion to stir their dust into consciousness, to wake their ashes into pain…Lips that Shakespeare taught to speak have whispered their secret in my ear.”—Oscar Wilde The Picture of Dorian Gray (via mmakingelectricity)
